Pay it forward: Before I can design, develop, and manufacture a swim goggle, I complete a long process of research. This enables me to find out what people really want and need in a product. The more research that I do, the better a product turns out. Many times this research has me reading swim forums and blogs to find out what people are really saying (unfiltered). This research has led me to Mary Eggers @ http://ironmomma.com/. Mary had a great post on swim goggles that gave some insight which helped me to further my research. You can read what went down next on her blog as she reviews the Nootca product line.

Jordan Rapp, Lava Magazine, and the Nootca Eleven goggle
Pick up a copy of the Dec/Jan issue of Lava
Magazine to read "Kona Debrief" by Jordan Rapp. Jordan talks about his
equipment choices and his reasons for choosing the Nootca eleven.
Jordan reached out to us a week before Kona to test our selection of swim goggles. We delivered on the Tuesday before the race and on Wednesday he made the decision to race with the Nootca eleven in Kona!

Our next video in our "how to" series. The protective pouch is included with each goggle. The pouch is made from a microfiber which is ideal to clean the outside of your goggle lens without scratching. The tie-string closure allows the goggle to be placed in the pouch while wet without difficulty.

Nootca 5 Swedish goggle assembly
How to assemble a Swedish style goggle is still one of the biggest questions we receive.
In this video we put together 3 ways the Nootca 5 can be configured to show the adjustability of the goggle. Each version can be used for any Swedish goggle in the market....including using our exclusive nose rod.
V1: Pre-assembled nose rod: best for light pressure from the straps
V2: String assembley: best for tight straps
V3: Strap modification: best for a medium pressure
Lets us know if you have any more tips or insight on the Swede and we'll include them in our next video.

Nootca 207 swim goggle Review with Marni Sumbal
Here's a great review and recommendation of our Nootca goggles from a 5x Ironman finisher, Marni Sumbal. Her blog is filled with training and nutritional information along with triathlete product reviews. Today she honored us with a review on our goggles. Marni also said she will wear Nootca's 207 goggle in the upcoming Branson 70.3. This is huge for our company and we are proud to be represented. Thanks, Marni!

Pee Spotting Swim Goggle
A little humor during the day is always appreciated.. Just a note from one of our satisfied customers, enjoy:
"I was swimming in your goggles and I could see every time
one of my friends peed in the pool. They
gave me a huge advantage to getting out of the pool before I felt a warm
spot. My friends are gross. Thank you for a great pee spotting goggle." - Horatio

Swim goggle shippment
Our first bulk shipment from the factory. This was a big step for us in our company. To say it was a big relief, is an understatement. Getting through customs and organizing the paperwork is a challenge. The next shipment of swim goggles is expected to arrive in another 30 days to keep up with our orders. We have also begun designing for next year...

Olympic Trial Goggle Giveaway 2012
Shot of our duffel half full of product outside the warm-up pool
Things have settled down since we arrived back home from trials and our first shipment of goods is scheduled to arrive on Friday the 13th.
Olympic trials:
Two great mornings of handing out product. We had a great reception from the athletes, by the second day we had swimmers asking for the goggles their friends talked about.
It was also amazing to see how much the event has grown since I started in the industry... truly amazing.
